We are humbled to share some incredible moments from our recent trip to Israel. During this mission, the Make A Difference Foundation was honored with two special recognitions:
- An award from the Yalom Unit, Israel’s elite tunnel warriors, and
- A certificate from IDF Special Unit 509, a testament to our unwavering support for Israel’s defenders.
Honored by the Yalom Unit
The Yalom Unit, tasked with navigating and fighting in tunnels as deep as 80 yards underground, presented us with an award in gratitude for our efforts to provide warm meals and essential equipment to their warriors. We served over 600 soldiers, including many women, who fight alongside their male counterparts in these challenging conditions.
During our visit, we toured their practice tunnels, gaining a firsthand understanding of the difficult and dangerous environments these warriors face daily. The unit expressed their gratitude for your support, which ensures they are better equipped for their missions.

In addition to the Yalom Unit award, we were deeply honored to receive a certificate of appreciation from IDF Special Unit 509. This recognition underscores the value of your contributions, which allow us to provide critical resources and support to soldiers across Israel.

Planting Seeds for the Future
