Central to the Make a Difference Foundation mission is to provide life saving essentials directly to soldiers in the field.  Through your generous donations, and in response to immediate needs, we have curated and compiled the following Life Saving Kits.

So what’s in our Life Saving Kit and how much does it cost?

The cost of this Life Saving Kit is $225

Your support enables us to prepare these kits and deliver them directly to our brave soldiers on the front lines.

A donation of $225 will help one soldier and provide life-saving equipment during times of need.

Items in the Life Saving Kit

1.

G-Shock watch. 200 Meter Water Resistant. Illuminator with Afterglow which is critical for the environment that the soldiers are in. They specifically requested this watch with the afterglow.

2.

3L BPA Free Hydration pack. This is a necessity going into the warmer months. The soldiers face a dry climate, and this helps keep them hydrated.

Tactical Gloves with impact protection and vibration absorption.

4.

As the soldiers walk a lot, Band-Aids and blister packs are vital.

5.

Critical eyewear goggles. These goggles help with debris, dust, and overall eye protection.

6.

15-in-1 Stainless Steel Multitool and pocket knife.

7.

6PC D-Clip Locking Carabiner clip.

8.

LED 5000 lumen Flashlight with picatinny rail mount and remote switch.

The cost of this life-saving kit is $72.00

We need to put as many of these kits together so we are able to deliver them directly to our brave soldiers on the front lines.

A donation of $72 will help to save one soldier. Two kits are only $144.

Items in the Medical Kit

1.

The CAT GEN 7 Tourniquet is a true one-handed tourniquet proven to be 100% effective by the U.S. Army’s Institute of Surgical Research. Tests proved that the CAT completely occluded blood flow of an extremity in the event of a traumatic wound with significant hemorrhage.

2.

Safety goggles which can be used when in a tank, to keep out the dirt and sand.

3.

Multiple gauze pads for injuries, and burns. Including large bandages for severe injuries.

4.

As the soldiers walk a lot, Band-Aids and blister packs are vital.

5.

Hydration drinks – Liquid IV. Vital when fighting in the field. They may not get any hydration for some while, providing them with energy.

6.

Energy bars, again essential as they might not get a meal for 12-14hrs.

7.

Alcohol wipes to keep small wounds clean. Infections can cause a soldier real problems when in the field.

8.

Masks to limit exposure to another soldier who may be injured or sick.

9.

Duct tape. This is important so the soldier can tape items to their weapons.

10.

A Sharpie so they can mark the time on the tourniquet when it was put on an injured soldier or civilian. Without this, a limb can die and have to be removed.

11.

Surgical gloves for keeping wounds clean in the field.

12.

Candy for that extra boost.

Oh yes, one more thing you can’t see. A lot of love and caring that they need at this time, so they don’t feel alone while knowing they are being supported!
