Warm Meals Delivered to IDF Soldiers Near Gaza

Serving Israeli soldiers on and off the battlefield.

Hello!

We are excited to share an update on one of our latest missions: just last week a group of Make a Difference Foundation volunteers provided warm, nourishing meals to IDF soldiers stationed near the Gaza border. Thanks to your incredible support, our team has now delivered over 1400 meals in total, bringing not only sustenance but also a boost of morale to those who protect Israel every day.

These hot meals are a reminder to our soldiers that they are not alone—that people like you are standing with them in this challenging time. Your contributions are making a real difference on the front lines.

Thank you to our AMAZING Mitch⁩ Ginsberg who is there as well from Arizona and all the Israeli Volunteers from Make A Difference Foundation who are traveling and preparing the fresh meats and vegetables for the soldiers! You guys are fabulous!!!

Hours of preparation of shopping, negotiating food prices, traveling hours to the field, setting up the meal area, cooking the foods, packaging food for the soldiers that are in battle and giving out healthy warm meals to those on the field base takes 7-10 hours of work….The fact that the soldiers can sit down and speak with a civilian and tell their stories and hardships means everything to them.

Not only are the soldiers getting warm meals after months in the field eating out of cans, but the fact that they actually see “normal” civilians that come to them and prepare the foods provides the emotional support is so important and needed.

If you would like to help out and can’t make it to the event, please feel free to go to the foundation website and donate what you can. One meal for 120 soldiers costs $1800, excluding travel expenses and volunteer time, effort and love.
