Last week, Make A Difference Foundation co-founder Aaron Shuster, along with dedicated volunteers from Arizona, traveled to Israel to serve warm, comforting meals to soldiers stationed near Gaza. For many of these soldiers, it would be their last hot meal for weeks, as they prepare to deploy back into Gaza for five weeks with no access to hot food.
Among those we served were the women observers and the men who operate large trucks with plows—equipment that plays a crucial role in protecting the infantry. These trucks rip up the roads ahead of the soldiers to expose any bombs that may be planted beneath the asphalt. The enemy uses these hidden explosives to target troops, making this task both essential and dangerous.
