At the Make A Difference Foundation, we go where no other organization dares—deep into the heart of the action to feed and care for frontline combat soldiers.
Today, Tuesday, we are making warm meals for soldiers in the middle of the city of Hebron—a hot zone! The last time we served meals there, we needed an armed convoy just to leave the area safely. This is the kind of work your donations make possible. We hand-deliver every meal and piece of gear directly into the hands of soldiers, just near the battlefield.
These brave soldiers often go weeks without a proper meal, surviving on canned food like beans or corn. Some haven’t taken off their shoes or uniforms for 3 to 4 weeks so they can stay ready for action 24/7. But when we arrive with warm meals, they celebrate—they dance, laugh, and, for a moment, rediscover joy.
Hear from a Hero in a Tank: One of the soldiers, a warrior who spent 7 days inside a tank with three other women, shared her incredible story with us. She and her team haven’t had a shower or change of clothes for over four weeks. But despite it all, she told us she can’t wait to play rugby with us!
Watch Our Mission on the Lebanon-Syria Border: We recently delivered warm meals to soldiers taking a rare break. As they double-checked their weapons, they were reminded that they are not alone, and that people like you stand with them.
