Women on the Front Lines: Strength, Service, and Sacrifice

Serving Israeli soldiers on and off the battlefield.

Hello!

When people picture the front lines, they often imagine young men in combat gear.

But across Israel’s military response, women are serving in extraordinary ways — in intelligence, surveillance, logistics, command roles, border defense, and in units operating dangerously close to active conflict zones.

They are carrying responsibility, pressure, and sacrifice right alongside their fellow soldiers.

Serving Under Extraordinary Conditions

For many female soldiers, the realities are intense:

Long deployments.

Cold nights.

Dangerous operational environments.

Time away from family.

And the emotional strain of prolonged uncertainty.

They show up with professionalism, courage, and remarkable resilience.

Supporting the Women Who Serve

MADF has had the privilege of supporting female soldiers with practical items that help preserve both comfort and dignity during deployment — including hygiene essentials, warm gear, and other much-needed supplies often overlooked in standard support efforts.

Because readiness is not just about weapons and tactics.

It’s also about ensuring every soldier has what they need to stay healthy, focused, and mission-ready.

Honoring a Life of Courage

This week, we mourn the heartbreaking loss of Mika Levitt, a lone soldier who came from Miami, Florida, to serve in the IDF out of deep commitment and love for Israel.

Mika was known as a strong, smiling young woman who chose a path of service — first as a combat soldier in Karkel, and more recently pursuing additional military training with enthusiasm and purpose.

Her tragic and unexpected passing has deeply impacted those who knew and served alongside her.

As we honor the women serving on the front lines, we also remember the extraordinary sacrifices made by young people like Mika, who leave behind home, family, and comfort to stand in defense of the Jewish state.

May her memory be a blessing.

Service Takes Many Forms

In a war that has stretched far longer than anyone hoped, these women continue to stand watch, gather intelligence, protect communities, and serve their nation with unwavering commitment.

Their courage deserves recognition.

Their needs deserve support.

Your support makes this possible.

If you’re able, please consider helping us continue supporting all of Israel’s defenders — including the women serving on the front lines.
