From the Battlefield to the Wedding Aisle—A Hero’s Journey

Serving Israeli soldiers on and off the battlefield.

Hello!

At Make A Difference Foundation, we’ve met many heroes—some still fighting on the front lines, and others fighting their way back to life after serious injury. This week, we want to introduce you to one such hero whose story moved us all.

Meet Our Hero: A Golani Warrior’s Journey

On October 7th, this young soldier from the elite Golani Brigade was gravely injured while defending his country during the surprise Hamas attack. He sustained a severe head wound and underwent months of intensive recovery—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

But this past week, he did something remarkable: He walked down the aisle at his wedding.

We were honored to witness this deeply moving moment and are sharing it with you in the short video below. His resilience, love, and determination are a living testament to the power of hope—and to the incredible strength of Israel’s defenders.

This is the kind of recovery your support makes possible. Through MADF’s Wounded Soldier Outreach, we continue to help injured soldiers rebuild their lives—whether it’s covering the cost of medical equipment, providing emotional and logistical support, or simply reminding them that they are not alone.
