Real Stories from the Field — Israel Still Faces the Ongoing Threat

Serving Israeli soldiers on and off the battlefield.

Hello!

The brief calm of the ceasefire has ended. Once again, rockets have fallendrones have crossed borders, and terror cells have resurfaced.

Even in so-called “quiet” periods, Israel’s enemies continue to rebuild and rearm. Beneath the surface, Hamas’s vast tunnel network—dozens of miles deep under Gaza—remains one of the greatest ongoing threats. Above ground, rocket fire and drone attacks still endanger families in Israel’s South and North.

The battlefield is evolving, and so must our response.

Your continued support ensures that Israel’s defenders receive the protective gear, tactical tools, and supplies they need to adapt and survive in this ever-changing fight.

On Duty Again: Eitan’s Fourth Tour

My (Aaron’s) “old” army buddy and long-time Make A Difference Foundation member, Eitan (Tony) Horwitz, has just returned to reserve duty for his fourth tour, this time in the Hebron area, south of Jerusalem.

It’s bitterly cold this time of year, and the region has seen increased Hamas activity. Please join us in praying for his safety—and for all the brave soldiers serving alongside him.

“Thank you everyone, and thank you again for the equipment that MADF supplied me with! I use it on every round of reserve duty.” — Eitan (Tony) Horwitz

Amen. May he and all our warriors return home safely to their families.

From the Front Lines: A Message from Ronen’s Unit

Shared with us by our long-time MADF member @~Rising Doors LLC, whose family relative is serving in Israel:

“Hi, my name is Ronen and I’m a platoon commander in the IDF reserves.
I hate asking for this, but it’s necessary.
In the last two years, my soldiers and I have been ripped away from our jobs and families to join a war we didn’t start.
We’ve just received our fifth deployment for late December, and we’ll be there—because that’s what we signed up for when we chose combat positions.

We have everything we need from the IDF, but we could use help to make our service a bit better:
– Better winter gear
– Help for the wives staying at home alone
– Better food and snacks
– Toiletries”

We are seeking donations for these warm coveralls for front line soldiers. The price is around $200 each.

Winter in the ISRAEL mountains get snow and heavy rain in the winter months. The soldiers need these coveralls to stay warm and battle at the same time.

If you’d like to make a donation that helps supply these needs, please write in the comments: ‘Ronen’s Unit.’

MADF members will purchase the items and hand-deliver them directly to the warriors in the field.
